What's Covered β Complimentary for Life
These services are included at no cost for every Diamondaire purchase, for as long as you own the piece:
Professional Cleaning We'll restore your ring to its original brilliance with ultrasonic cleaning and steam finishing. Recommended every 6β12 months.
Prong Inspection & Retightening Over time, prongs can loosen slightly with daily wear. We inspect every prong under magnification and retighten as needed to keep your diamond secure.
Rhodium Re-dipping (white gold only) White gold's rhodium plating wears gradually. We'll re-dip your piece to restore its bright, silvery-white finish. Typically needed every 12β18 months.
Re-polishing Normal wear leaves fine surface scratches on any metal. We'll polish your ring back to its original finish β high shine or matte, depending on the original design.
Additional Services β Available at Cost
Some services go beyond routine maintenance and are available at fair, transparent pricing:
Resizing Complimentary within the first year. After that, resizing is available for a flat fee depending on the metal and complexity. Not all ring styles can be resized (pavΓ© bands and eternity rings, for example) β we'll advise you upfront.
Stone Replacement If a side stone or pavΓ© diamond comes loose or is lost, we'll source a match and reset it. Center stone replacement is handled on a case-by-case basis.
Restoration For pieces that have experienced significant wear or damage beyond routine maintenance, we offer full restoration services. We'll assess the piece and provide a quote before any work begins.
How to Request Service
Step 1 β Submit a Request Log into your Diamondaire account, select the piece, and choose the service you need. You'll receive a confirmation email with a prepaid, insured shipping label.
Step 2 β Ship It In Pack your piece in its original packaging (or any secure box) and attach the prepaid label. Drop it at any FedEx or UPS location.
Step 3 β Service & Return Our team inspects and services your piece, attaches a detailed service report to your account, and ships it back to you β fully insured, signature required. You'll receive email updates at every step.
Typical turnaround: 7β10 business days from the day we receive your piece.
What's Not Covered
Our lifetime warranty covers manufacturing defects and normal wear. It does not cover:
Loss or theft (we recommend insuring your piece through a jewelry-specific policy or your homeowner's/renter's insurance), accidental damage from impact or misuse, damage caused by third-party repairs or modifications, and natural wear to gemstones (extremely rare with diamonds but possible with softer stones).
If your piece has been serviced or modified by another jeweler, our warranty may be voided. When in doubt, contact us first β we'd rather help than turn you away.

FAQ
Q: Does the warranty transfer if I give the piece as a gift? Yes. Our lifetime care commitment stays with the piece, not the original purchaser.
Q: How often should I have my ring serviced? We recommend a professional cleaning and prong inspection every 6β12 months. If you wear your ring daily, closer to every 6 months is ideal.
Q: Do I have to pay for shipping when I send my ring in for service? No. We provide a prepaid, insured shipping label for every service request. Return shipping is on us as well.
Q: Will I receive my ring back looking exactly as it did when new? In most cases, yes. After cleaning, prong retightening, and polishing, your piece should look as close to original as possible. We'll note any exceptions in your service report.
Q: What if I need a repair that isn't covered? We'll assess the piece, explain what's needed, and provide a transparent quote before any work begins. No surprises.
