How Engraving Works
Engraving is available on most Diamondaire rings. When you add an eligible ring to your cart — either from the collection or through the Ring Builder — you'll see an "Add Engraving" option. Toggle it on, type your message, select your font, and preview it before confirming.
Your engraving text is attached to the order and passed directly to our production team. The engraving is performed on the inside of the band using precision laser engraving for clean, permanent lettering that won't wear or fade.
Available Fonts
We offer a curated selection of fonts chosen for legibility at small scale and beauty on a curved surface:
Classic Serif — Traditional, elegant, timeless. The most popular choice for dates and initials.
Modern Sans — Clean and minimal. Pairs well with contemporary ring designs.
Script — Flowing, romantic cursive. Beautiful for names and short phrases.
Block — Bold and confident. Reads clearly even at small character sizes.
Handwritten — Relaxed, personal, organic. Feels like a note written by hand.

Character Limits & Guidelines
Most rings accommodate 15–20 characters including spaces, depending on the ring size and font. Smaller ring sizes and wider fonts allow fewer characters. The engraving tool will show your available limit in real time as you type.
What works well: Dates (12.25.2026), initials (J + M), short phrases (forever yours, chosen for life, always), names, coordinates, or a word with meaning only to you.
What to keep in mind: Emojis and special symbols are not supported. Engraving is permanent — double-check your text before confirming. Engraved rings are not eligible for return, so take a moment to make sure everything is exactly right.
Timing & Pricing
Engraving adds 3–5 business days to your order's production timeline. This is reflected in your estimated delivery date at checkout.
Engraving is complimentary on all eligible rings. There is no additional charge.

FAQ
Q: Can I engrave any ring? Most Diamondaire rings are eligible for engraving. Some styles with very thin or intricate bands may not accommodate engraving — the product page will indicate if engraving is available for that design.
Q: Can I see a preview before ordering? Yes. The engraving tool shows a live preview of your text in your chosen font on the inside of the band before you add it to your cart.
Q: Is engraving permanent? Yes. We use precision laser engraving, which is clean, precise, and permanent. It will not wear away or fade over time.
Q: Can I remove or change an engraving later? Removing engraving requires re-polishing the interior of the band, which is possible but may slightly alter the inner surface. Changing an engraving means polishing the original away and re-engraving. Contact us to discuss — we'll advise based on your specific ring.
Q: Are engraved rings returnable? No. Because engraving is a permanent personalization, engraved rings are not eligible for return or exchange. Please double-check your text and spelling before confirming your order.
Q: Does engraving cost extra? No. Engraving is complimentary on all eligible rings.
