How Returns Work

Step 1 — Start Your Return Log into your Diamondaire account and select the piece you'd like to return. You'll receive a confirmation email with a prepaid, insured return shipping label within minutes.

Step 2 — Pack & Ship Place the piece back in its original packaging (ring box, pouch, and certificate if applicable). Attach the prepaid label to the outer box and drop it off at any FedEx or UPS location. No cost to you.

Step 3 — Refund Issued Once we receive and inspect your return, your refund is processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. You'll receive an email confirmation when it's complete.

What's Eligible

Returns are accepted within 30 days of the delivery date. Items must be in original, unworn condition with all original packaging, certificates, and documentation.

Eligible for return: Engagement rings, wedding bands, eternity bands, and all jewelry purchased through diamondaireco.com.

Not eligible for return: Engraved items (personalization makes them non-returnable), resized rings (alterations are considered wear), items showing signs of wear, damage, or modification, and gift cards.

Exchanges

Want a different size, setting, or stone? We're happy to exchange. Start the process the same way — initiate a return from your account, note that you'd like an exchange, and our team will reach out to help you find the right replacement.

If the exchange item is a higher value, we'll charge the difference. If it's lower, we'll refund it.

A Note on Custom Ring Builder Orders

Rings built through our Ring Builder (custom stone + setting combinations) follow the same 30-day return policy. The bundled item is returned as a complete unit — we don't accept partial returns of just the stone or just the setting.

FAQs

Prequalifying uses a soft credit check, which does not affect your score. If you proceed with a loan, Affirm may perform a hard credit check at that point.

Affirm's approval is based on several factors. If you're not approved for one plan, you may still qualify for a shorter term or smaller amount. You can also contact Affirm directly for details.

Yes. Apply your discount or trade-up credit first, and finance the remaining balance through Affirm.

Once we process your return, Affirm cancels the loan. Any payments already made are refunded to you. The process typically takes 5–10 business days.

Affirm sets its own minimums and maximums. Most Diamondaire purchases fall well within their range. You'll see financing availability confirmed at checkout.
